He May Not Have The WHOLE World In His Hands...

Regardless of his recent Nobel Prize win, Obama is not the darling of the entire world--some people actually want to see results. This article from the UK Telegraph outlines what they see as the top ten unfulfilled pledges of the Obama administration. Granted, there are a couple of these pledges that I am glad that Obama has not brought to fruition, namely numbers 5 and 9, but on the whole, one would think that Obama is becoming quite the disappointment to the left. Seemingly, this is not the case. It would seem that, as long as the left is happy to settle for style over substance, they will be willing to overlook a multitude of sins of omission.

This must be a scam - the Telegraph using information from the St Petersburg Times which is casting doubt on our Democrat President?!! This must be a first for the Times! That newspaper is so left-wing - it could have been generated by its sister City in Russia in bygone times! It is also known for fudging circulation figures - it will deliver the Times for free to every home in St Petersburg just before circulation figures are created, thus making out that it's the most popular newspaper in Florida.
Thank you young lady for this article. If only more Americans read this.

In spite of what Madoc says, it is still true that Obama has not fulfilled his promises.

Here in England out Govt is repeatedly robbing old age pensioners of what little money and dignity we have left. Broken promise No 4 is as familiar to Americans as Brown's promises to the old people here. He promised so much to help us, and never kept one election promise!

For instance, last year the over 60's were given £250 ($409)"winter fuel allowance"; this year it will be only £200 ($327), but the winters don't get any warmer!

I think I qualify for extra help from the Govt because my pension is so low, but the form I have to fill in to get it is so big (41 pages!) and is written in "gobble-de-gook" that even I, with an IQ of 146, can't understand it! [for instance, how do I work out what my "Standard Minimum Guarantee", "Appropriate Minimum Guarantee" and my "Savings Credits" is in order to fill out the form?]

So what do older people in their 80's and 90's do? Like me they just chuck it in the bin. This is precisely what the powers-that-be want. It saves them money.

This year this f***ing Govt GAVE £827,000,000 ($1,353,000,000) to India, which they used to finance their space program, and the have promised (?) the poorest pensioners a rise of 34p ($0.56) a day from next April!

End of rant.

Keith, you must have mis-interpreted my comment! I totally agree that Obama has not fullfilled his promises. My comments were aimed at the lying, mis-informed, left-wing St. Petersburg Times, which has always defended anything said by the Dems.
