One more of those Global Warming "heretics" weighs in...

Richard S. Lindzen, a professor of meteorology at that backwater of science, MIT, weighs in and exposes himself to ridicule with common-sense analysis of the evidence concerning anthropogenic global warming in this article in that supermarket tabloid known as the Wall Street Journal. I know, it's a bit long for a mainstream media headline, but if they were allowed that much space, I can see it...

It seems that even the picture of that polar bear stuck on a sliver of ice was also an example of 'global warming' - it was taken in August..... But you have to admit, if that nice Mr Gore said global warming is happening, it surely must be. Isn't it? Democrats don't lie do they?
I also have to wonder what good will the conference on this subject due shortly in Copenhagen actually do to help. Can you imagine all that hot air being spouted?

A quote from this story:

"The U.N. estimates the 12-day conference will create 40,584 tons of carbon dioxide equivalents, roughly the same amount as the carbon emissions of Morocco in 2006."

So, a conference on climate change will create in 12 days the same carbon footprint as a small country does in an entire year. That'll show them polar bears...

Hi Debi, sorry I haven't commented for a while, but I'm just a stupid old git. I lost the link to your page!

I found it yesterday when I was clearing out all the old emails from yahoo. That's the price you pay for going private. If you had been on my bloglist I would have just clicked straight onto you (in the nicest pssible way of course).

The stupidest remark I heard recently by a GW expert was "The planet is getting colder, this is caused by global warming" Eh? Oh well, he's an expert and I'm just an ignorant peasant who's expected to believe him.

Keith, I'm not actually private, just semi-anonymous. Feel free to add me to your bloglist, omitting my real name, if you don't mind. And yeah, it takes a lot of "faith" to belong to the Climate Change Church, enough to swallow any line they feed you, no matter how twisted...
