The New Beginning...

So here I am, in my new digs as Patchouli Pundit. Looks pretty good, if I do say so myself...

I had another blog, once upon a time, but at that point I was using my real name, and found myself somewhat stifled in what I could write, for fear of offending someone who knew me. After a while, I couldn't take not being able to express myself fully, so I gave up blogging for a bit. Now I'm finding that I needed that outlet more than I thought I did, so I've decided to give it another go, only "anonymously" this time. Hopefully, this will give me more freedom to say what I need to say without worrying about whether I've parsed my words enough.

In this space, I will talk about politics, God, and just the junk floating around in my head. I have a "real" job, so don't expect me to be one of those people who post 10 times a day, or even once a day. Probably once or twice a week...let's see how that goes first...Anyways, welcome!

Just a sec. . . . you say you want to be "anonymous" so as not to offend anyone who knows you, and yet you put a picture of yourself (or IS it?) and other details on the page?

I will never understand the American mind until the day I die! Pffft!

I know, Keith, we're crazy people, yes? :) Those who read this who know me, only know about the site because I told them, so they already know who I am. Those who don't know me are unlikely to recognize me from just my photo. Lexington is a big town, close to 270,000. And I haven't used my real name anywhere, so Google shouldn't trace me to here...

Because you are anonymous I haven't put you on my "favourite bloggers" list on my page; but you are still one of my personal favourites!

I will comment on your other posts, but I'm really busy at the moment doing some urgent design work and havent got time to read and digest your other posts.

Take your time, no hurries. I am very interested in your input, especially given the things you have posted in the past on the health care system there in the UK. I look forward to your insights.
